My residential design journey began after working in the life insurance industry for several years. I had received my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business and was convinced that it was my destiny to go to law school. I took a few pre- law classes and discovered that I wasn't satisfied and desired a space to express my creativity. HGTV introduced me to the world of residential design! From that point on, I knew that I was destined to become a designer.
I QUICKLY LEARNED THAT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE TO RESIDENTIAL DESIGN THAN WHAT WAS SHOWN ON HGTV.
I received my Associate of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design shortly after, and have worked in various roles in the design and construction industry for the past ten years.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time and going on adventures with my husband and three children.
HGTV sparked my love for design, so I left my job in the life insurance industry to help people create spaces they love to be in.
As I grew older, I helped my brothers renovate their rental properties. Eventually, after multiple houses of renovations, I decided to make it a career.
I received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Physics thinking I wanted to go into the field of Astronomy. While I loved that idea, the thought of going to more schooling to be able to do something in that field didn't sit well with me. I've always been interested in how things are put together and how things work together. With this, I thought going into the construction field seemed like a perfect match. I've officially been in the business of construction (exterior and interior) for over eleven years.
In my free time, I enjoy events with my family, playing basketball, music, and learning about the cosmos.
Growing up watching my dad renovate our home, I learned the art of construction at a young age.
Color plays such an important role in the psychological aspect of how we think and feel in an interior space. As an allied member with the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID) and member of the National Kitchen and Bath Association (NKBA), we're able to stay knowledgeable in the design industry. We bring many years of experience and are excited for the opportunity to get to know you and help you reinvent your home into a beautiful, functional, timeless space.
